Residential Care Homes

State-licensed homes that provide single or double occupancy rooms, meals, and personal care services to three or more residents.

Some homes include nursing overview by a registered nurse, personal care, and meals. Some homes are eligible to provide services paid for by Medicaid. Assistive Community Care Services and Enhanced Residential Care pay for extra residential supports for Medicaid-eligible Residential Care Home residents. Some homes accept only private payment, while others accept Medicaid funds and people who receive SSI.
